Hi I’m Melissa! Wife and stay at home mom of 5 wonderful kids. Fleeing the doom scrolling of twitter and trying to engage more over here about shows I love and excited to connect with the #RHAP and #Suvivor communities! Also here for the funny, heartwarming, and frazzled mom posts 😂
W: Broken AC
Th: AC guy steps through ceiling while fixing
F: email from preschool- COVID in class
S: 4yo has fever and tests positive

Masking all day trying to take care of 4yo without spreading to other kids, especially my oldest with Down syndrome who gets wiped out by respiratory viruses. 🥺

I have never watched an international season of Survivor. Are all of them this good?? Only problem is keeping up with three episodes a week without getting spoiled 😅 #SurvivorAU vs World

The new school year is almost here and I have a newly licensed 16 year old who will be driving himself to and from school. This is both amazing and terrifying! 😅

I enjoy reading the different parenting perspectives shared by these women. The articles are thought-provoking, funny, and heartfelt. I have been a mother for 18 years but am still learning and open to new ideas. I also am reassured that I am getting some things right! 😅

Survived my 20th anniversary trip to Disney with my husband, our 5 kids, my sister, dad, and stepmom! Drove hours to get there, walked so many miles in 90+ degrees heat for days and still had a wonderful time! Returned to California Grill for our anniversary dinner and everything was amazing 🥰

My 4 year old has been allergic to eggs since his first try at 6 months old so I have barely had eggs in the house the past 3 years. We are now at the stage where we have to challenge him with baked egg but he doesn’t like the taste even disguised in muffins. If only he knew the price per egg. 😅

I’ve checked this list for myself, family, and friends to make sure our votes were counted. If you’re in NC or know someone in NC you can search by name and county.
🚨🚨Calling all North Carolina voters!! Here is a list of every voter that Jefferson Griffin is trying to disenfranchise, please if you are a NC voter check to see if your name is on here, you have 15 days to cure your ballot to make sure your vote counts. thegriffinlist.com/assets/griff...

This is the biggest, underreported news right now. Republicans are trying to STEAL an election in North Carolina. Straight up. This is a test case for 2026 and 2028. They will never voluntarily give up power again.
Bombshell in North Carolina: the state's GOP-dominated Court of Appeals just sided with the GOP candidate in last year's supreme court race.

Their decision would toss roughly 60,000 ballots (!) that have been counted, & likely hand the election to GOP instead of incumbent Dem Justice who won it.

Thank you Survivor for highlighting the stories of Kamilla, Shauhin, Kyle, and Joe. It’s important we learn the history and struggle of people unlike ourselves so we can learn, grow, and centre humanity which united all people. #survivor #survivor48

You could feel this look through the tv screen. Very powerful and emotional moment that brought me to tears. Although in stills without context he looks menacing 😂 #Survivor #RHAP

It was incredible to watch what Eva teach Joe to do upon meeting her in the premiere if she an episode. And 4 episodes later, he puts that into practice 💜 #Survivor48

Happy #WorldDownSyndromeDay ! My family has been part of this amazing community for almost 18 years. My son has brought me so much love and joy and given me a new outlook on what is most important in life. I would not be the same person without his impact. I am so grateful and lucky to be his mom.

I need to stay off this app until I catch up on #Severance because every other post is people talking about the finale. 😅 My husband and I both fell asleep half way through episode 8 this week. 😂

Tomorrow is #WorldDownSyndromeDay! The 21st day of the 3rd month, aa people with Down syndrome have 3 copies of chromosome 21 instead of 2. We wear “lots of socks” to celebrate. Bright, funky, mismatched (not odd!), because different is good, and because chromosomes look a bit like socks 😊

Just watched #Paradise episode 7. It was terrifying and gripping and brilliant acting all around. James Marsden and Sterling K. Brown and Julianne Nicholson are so good!
