If there's one thing I'd hope the music community learns from Leave Spotify it's this:

The signs were there for years but we acted too slow. Artists are broke. The LLM has its dataset for AI slop. Ek has made his billions and reinvested in AI+war. The damage is done.

Next time we must move faster.

As I'm doing adjudication for an #audiodrama festival it's baffling how many are compressing the 🤬 out of their master that it sounds overbaked/crispy/distorted

Don't do that. You're ruining all your hard work of sound designing, #editing and #mixing by crisping the overall tone
