We stayed as long as we could-as we were leaving even more were arriving.
Some great signs, people are so creative. No counter protesters to speak of - 2 cars that drove through while we were there & 1 more that was behind us as we drove through. (We didn’t see any gatherings)

Looks like there were about 44k deaths last year from COVID in the US, putting it on par with guns and cars, so officially the level that "we" stop caring about it.

Imagine being a Long Covid sufferer, or someone who has lost a loved one to Covid this week, and hearing that.

One of the simplest radically rebellious things you can do — you, right now! — is wear a mask in public. Show people you think they’re worth protecting. Show people you’re willing to resist the social pressure to pretend things are normal. It’s good hygiene and good practice for other resisting.
