Watched Civil War last night. Probably the most frightening movie I've seen in a long time. Not recommended if you're already stressed about the current state of the USA, btw, also very violent (not gratuitous, it's a war movie).

Dyed hair darker than my normal copper. Not sure if I like it yet or not, it's probably the darkest I have ever had my hair. Still a redhead though, we have way more fun than blondes. 😁

Heads up. I normally shop at Publix for most things, but after noticing how much less cereal is at Aldi's, did an experiment. My grocery bill went from ~40 to 22!
I buy store brands and am on a very limited income (around 60 for food for the week), so that is huge! YAYS!

To explain that sentence, I used to weigh over 300 pounds. At my skinniest I was 150 (and felt too skinny). I'm now about 180, and trying not to gain more, but that's a challenge with the meds I'm on making me hungry normally for the first time in like 15+ years.

I found my favorite (and most valuable IMHO) ring! It's a Roma head coin from the 1st century, or that's what I was told when I got it. It's been lost for a year, I thought it was underneath the bed, but nope, hanging out with my knitting stuff. YAYS!

Going to the Renn Faire tomorrow, YAYS! First weekend, and I have a friend who works there and got me a ticket.
Sadly, I can't do medieval costuming anymore, so I'm pulling out the Rev War stuff (blue dress). Close enough, given that I've seen Deadpools there....(old pics)

It's okay to acknowledge that media you loved earlier in life isn't actually that great, looking back. It doesn't invalidate your happy memories of playing/viewing/reading/listening to it.
