Wisconsin politics and government. Rescue dogs. Always an ink-stained wretch.
The ruling administration of want-to-be kings has gone full on “let them eat cake.”

But the golden calf, err, ballroom is a vital necessity.

Dang
Trump’s construction of the Epstein Ballroom continues today. Can only imagine he’ll be renting it out for many junior proms.

How did Trump’s “shadow president” Russ Vought execute his vision of dismantling the government and putting bureaucrats “in trauma”?

One more cheer from me for these journalists and all who are resisting Trump by exercising their first amendment rights
Reporters were seen exiting the Pentagon and vacating their workspaces in the building on Wednesday after most news organizations rejected the Defense Department's new press rules and refused to sign documents acknowledging the policy.

Even Fox News. My appreciation to all journalists standing for the independence of the fourth estate!
The Pentagon’s new media policy blocks journalists from reporting out anything that isn’t approved by Pete Hegseth.

Pentagon reporters walked out of the building rather than sign on.

The freedom of the press has never been more crucial. Kudos to these journalists for protecting it.

So now the ICE agents of a self-declared Christian administration that allegedly values free speech are firing on a pastor and his congregants who are praying in Chicago.

This should never be America.

Many of you know that I have worked for Josh Kaul and think the world of him. Because of that I am very glad that we will have the opportunity in Wisconsin to continue to have an Attorney General who will stand up to the abuses of the Trump administration.
In Wisconsin, we’ve made meaningful progress, and we need to build on that progress. As my track record shows, I’m committed to working to protect public safety and to looking out for the interests of Wisconsinites.

This morning, the Trump Administration’s Department of War gave me an ultimatum: call up your troops, or we will. It is absolutely outrageous and un-American to demand a Governor send military troops within our own borders and against our will.

How could a Nobel Prize even be so much as a remote consideration given that Trump is attacking cities in America and declaring war on random boats off the coast of Venezuela, among other violence?

News today that ICE shot a woman is chilling. The videos online show that there are some abusive, masked thugs masquerading as law enforcement.

Nobody deserves this. The courts need to step in.

Who are these nine out of 10 Republicans? Or perhaps the better question is who are the one out of 10?
President Trump’s efforts to send National Guard troops to big cities, punish media organizations and pressure universities and private businesses are all unpopular with voters. But Trump continues to retain the support of roughly nine out of 10 Republican voters, a new poll found. nyti.ms/4nXjF23
