Wishing everyone a lovely Christmas break!

We made our own tree decorations during the first Covid Christmas lockdown, a crocheted star, a beaded DNA helix & pi, and tiny knitted ganseys. It’s always nice to see them again at this time of year.

This morning’s sunrise on the Warwick campus was a truly beautiful and immersive experience, as the sky erupted in a riot of colours. Simply breath taking!

Hope everyone else is having a great time at #tmip25. One thing I love is how much of the discussion on the hashtag is about the mathematical music last night, and the mathematical art on display - proof if it were needed that creativity and mathematics go hand in hand

We had a fantastic time at the #ResonateFestival of Arts at the @uni-of-warwick.bsky.social, running StitchInTime activity! Children used @turtlestitch.bsky.social to create designs. Thank you to WMG colleagues for running the activity.

It has six petals and each petal is stitched using a cross stitch pattern. Two stitched flowers onto felt, with a cross stitch border around them. A flower pattern stitched onto felt, it uses a Z stitch to outline each petal.
