Hi I‘m Megan, you may have seen some of my work in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, or my work at my old studio PikPok in New Zealand where I worked on Shatter Remastered, Agent Intercept, My Cat Club and Rival Stars: Horse Racing.

Still finding my feet in Germany (and in German)
One minute you're idly wondering if you can get the clock on your Mountain Everest keyboard going on Linux, and next minute you're elbow deep in USB specs and packet dumps.

No snow in Düsseldorf (yet) but the ponds have partially frozen.

Those Swiss were on to something with that whole Raclette business. I'm stuffed and happy - hope everyone is having a good holiday season.

Well I will say one thing positive about Xbox. At least the Series S got us ready for aggressive memory optimisation that's going to be necessary for probably the next gen. I imagine some studios currently in mid-production are going to be panicking though.

Watching some red squirrels play in the trees outside my window and I will never get over how cute they are.

Sure would be nice if Larian employees could dare to have an opinion on social media without outlets writing entire articles about it. It must be exhausting.

Some real weirdos getting upset at Rust in the Linux kernel. I can only assume they can only write a line of code if they’re wearing a big cowboy hat.

Our Xmas party is on Friday, I don’t know if I have it in me to stay up for TGA while tipsy on Glühwein.

I'm way behind but I started Advent of Code yesterday. I'm doing it in Rust and remembering what's both so good and so difficult about it.
Last time I used it was the Godot Rust-bindings which are very awkward. Not due to any fault of the ppl who developed the bindings, but the language itself
