It takes serious privilege to shit on writers who need to take any money to get by. I know this industry. I know what rates are bad and good in the U.K. and have the experience to get work that pays a bit more. But those opps are few and far between right now and sometimes you just gotta get paid….

Got let go in September last year and it’s taken until now to get my confidence up to the point I’m pitching features more regularly, not talking myself out of them, and feeling that creative spark again. Even if I don’t land them, feels good man.
