I’m tired of returning books to the university library on time but then getting an email a week later demanding I return books immediately. This is happening at 2 locations and with both ILL & university books. Someone needs to do their job & check books back in & record when ILL books are returned.

Finished reading Christopher Bennett’s Star Trek Titan Over the Torrent Sea. It depicts Droplet (a water world) & its native species in a way only a novel can. Like many Titan authors, Bennett isn’t afraid of letting the Titan crew fuck things up, even though the crew had the best intentions. 9.5/10

Specifically accepted an invitation to socialize with colleagues to meet a colleague’s dog. It was totally worth it. Dogs are so relaxing to be around (for me).

Watched the latest episode of Star Trek Scouts. It’s a Section 31 episode. The secret agency sends its evil agent Finn to prevent the Scouts from stopping a disco ball asteroid. I’m not sure why though.
