ICE is absolutely out of control in Chicago.
ICE just gassed a group a civilians near the Rico Fresh supermarket intersection on Armitage in Chicago - bystanders say this was in response for being heckled from the street.

There's a video with over 2 million likes, where someone says that if you are struggling to love yourself, then you already do. While this idea does resonate a bit for me, I don't completely agree with it. Struggling to do something–anything–is an indication that something is out of balance

Being raised by emotionally immature parents is like being raised by another child--like being raised by the same kid who bullies you in school. The lack the maturity to self reflect and the empathy to care about how that affects the people around them, especially their children.

Realistic, sustainable CPTSD recovery asks us to give up our addiction to others' expectations & timelines-- which is hard, because it's an addiction that is enabled & celebrated by every facet of our competitive, comparative culture.
