Great thread and comments. I think my 'fuck 'em' phase started a few years ago when I hit my forties.
One thing people kind of tell you, but not really, about middle age:
One day you'll be like "oh [thing] looks fun but people will think I'm a loser" about a thing

Great thread and comments. I think my 'fuck 'em' phase started a few years ago when I hit my forties.
Cast finally off! Lovely long scarring on elbow. Hand and wrist in a splint still, and have been given exercises to do. Was told nerve damage could take 1-2 years to fully heal. *looks at guitar longingly*

Well, on the bus to the hospital this morning, the guy next to me was watching a video about the IRA. No ear or headphones. Maybe buses should offer earphones like some airlines. Or phone companies can bring back phone jacks.
