I guess I'm a line producer now... I was only supposed to be the DP on this project...

I watched the new "The Running Man" today. It was alright. I would say not Edger Wright's strongest film, but a solid film which captured the dystopian future (current?) in a gritty and believable way while still keeping the over-the-top camp of the original.

I'm Thomas Chatterton Williams, and as the reality of our entire political and cultural elite's deep enmeshment with pedophilia and sex trafficking goes from obvious to undeniable, I will be writing about how it's bad to have principles.
I love writing one single article over and over again every month

I've been reading Ideaflow ( https://amzn.to/4oBF1Tn ) all about creativity in business, and added my distillation of the book into my notes garden https://garden.graysonarts.com/0-inbox/ideaflow/

I'd love to know, what are your idea generation habits?

Processing some photos and testing out DxO Photolab to see if it's going to replace photoshop for me. I'm liking it so far. What do you think?

It’s a huge mistake, a strategic error & will be disastrous for the DEMS in the mid-terms if they cave on the ACA.
If I were @schumer.senate.gov, I would not agree to help Republicans fund this regime on the "promise" of an ACA vote at a later date. It didn't work the last time when they promised to fund DC. It won't work this time either. The House won't touch it.

I've tried all kinds of tools to help me organize youtube video projects, but none of them quite give me what I want, and I could endlessly tweak them to try to get them to work the way I want them to, or...

Today’s found footage film was “Host”. It was made during the pandemic so that framing device was a zoom seance which was used effectively to build tension. Plot was mid to non-existent, but the acting was mostly good.

Watched "Incantation" (2022) by Kevin Ko last night. It had some good parts, but it was very slow. I'm finding that with most of the found footage films. The mythology in this one was muddled, and they stole their framing device from Ringu

We watched "Willow Creek" last night. Since it aligns strongly with the film I'm directing, I thought it would be good reference. It turned to be a reference of what not to do. 15 minutes on a single camera angle of the two leads in a tent, listening to "what was that" sounds outside. Not compelling

Hey #filmsky what’s your favorite found footage films? I’m doing a deep dive of watching in prep for the film I’m directing in January. Here are the ones I’m currently planning to watch.

My goal for today was to write the first 4 pages of my new screenplay. It’s a road trip comedy about a gay boy and his straight alpha male best friend traveling from New Orleans to Seattle. Not at all inspired by how I got to Seattle. Nope not at all

Let's be honest, I just registered rankmypoll.app to use for my IRV/Ranked Choice Polling system that I just wrote. So.. I'll have to create the branding for that now...

Whenever people complain about the number of folks relying on food stamps, it is worth reminding them that SNAP is, by too large of a degree, a subsidy for corporations that refuse to pay a living wage and their political allies who reject public policy prescriptions to reduce income inequality.

Accidentally posted to the wrong account but I don’t want to type it all out again.
Sometimes, I get an idea in my head and hyper focus on it over the last 24 hours, I implemented a ranked choice voting system (IRV) so that I can run fancier polls for my YouTube channel. Written in rust on the backend and SolidJS on the frontend.
