I mean, duh. Obviously obstructing LEO vehicles is a felony, and not a form of protest.

Okay I think we can start having random past players join the game with wrestling entrances

At what point do they simply run out of baseballs? Will they have to start asking for the fans to give some back?

One of the teams has to start getting weird with it soon, right?

The year is 2050. Game 3 of the 2025 World Series had been ongoing for countless innings. All other baseball franchises have long since folded. The game is now treated as a novelty by most. It even has its own TV channel. Shoehei Ohtani has now been walked over ten thousand times.
You know, there's no rule saying this game has to actually end. What are the Dodgers going to do when Ohtani's contract kicks in in the middle of the 3785th?

The worst/best part of this game is knowing that if they ever don't intentionally walk Ohtani, the game is just over. He's that good.

If this goes on much longer, he's just going to start composing his own stuff live
Whatever the Dodgers are paying this organist....it's not enough

They might need to get the relief announcers warming up in the bullpen if this goes on for much longer.

You have to pass legislation through Congress to rename a post office building, but apparently, you can just tear down the east wing via executive fiat
The National Trust for Historic Preservation warned that President Trump’s planned 90,000-square-foot ballroom would “overwhelm the White House itself,” which spans just 55,000 square feet. https://wapo.st/4hmL8rC

I fail to see how a payment of this size wouldn't qualify as a violation of the Article 2 Section 1 compensation and emoluments clauses. If there's executive immunity, then it logically follows that there should be executive restriction on settlements with the DOJ while in office
Breaking News: President Trump wants $230 million from the Justice Department for investigating him, people familiar with the matter say. Any settlement might ultimately be approved by senior department officials who defended him or those in his orbit. nyti.ms/4hmIi5X

If no Congressional authorization is needed to radically alter the structure like this (Truman had congressional approval for his reconstruction), what mechanism exists to prevent a hypothetical spiteful President from tearing the whole structure down for a successor to inherit?
BREAKING: The entire East Wing of the White House will be demolished “within days,” according to two Trump administration officials, a significant expansion of President Trump's original stated plan.
Trump administration demolishing entire East Wing of the White House to add new ballroom
Trump said in July that the $250 million project “won’t interfere with the current building.”

Making 60 votes the minimum to pass anything through the senate is insane. It's why it feels like Congress never gets anything done. Nothing does! Even when parties win a huge mandate, if they only have 59 (unfathomable!) senators instead of 60, their agenda is basically DOA.

Ranked choice voting is kind of growing on me. I like that it kind of helps voters get away from the usual "plug your nose and vote for 'X' candidate" system we have. We just need to uncouple the electoral college from the number of house members and senators so it represents population better.

In the very near future, every artist will have to say on every post they make that any rebroadcast, retransmission, or account of this art, without the express written consent of Major League Baseball, is prohibited.

Were there any attempts during the post-revolutionary period on Mars to create a more Mars-centric calendar?
I imagine deorienting their daily operations from working around Earth time must have been a huge factor in the early days of the council, after the revolution.

"No one likes us. We don't care."
In fact, we don't care so much, we are gonna make up a whole song about it - yeah, that'll prove that we really don't care what people think about us!
A whole song and chant about how little we care about what we're singing and chanting about, that'll show em'

The members of the inquisition must remain secret to avoid scrutiny or consequences.
an unelected billionaire storming into US agencies, installing his unqualified and unapproved lackeys, purging civil servants, seizing access to sensitive data and payments, unilaterally eliminating federal agencies: fine

identifying the lackeys: illegal

Call it what it is. It's an American Inquisition.
