My 1-year-old has developed a couple of excellent new games recently:
Don't Shut Mama in the Bathroom, where she pushes the door shut and I get a few mins to brush my teeth in peace,
&
Mama Sleeping, where I "have to" lie down on the bed and close my eyes.
It's the little wins 😄

Things I read in October - 3 solid choices for spooky season! Hugely recommend this short story collection by the always brilliant @thomasha.bsky.social . On my third (I think?) reread of @jeffvandermeer.bsky.social 's Area X novels, Authority is still my fave ❤️ And Fevre Dream was just insane fun 🧛♂️
