I was around when MTV first made its debut. I recall them running commercials without sound at first, but then they ran regular commercials like everyone else.
I stopped watching MTV for good back when they stopped showing music videos, replacing them with these shitty "reality" shows.

I saw Yvonne Craig, who played Batgirl on the 1960s Batman TV series, walk right past me at a SF/horror convention. Never said a word to her.

Just found out that we've lost Jimmy Hunt a few months back. The original Invaders From Mars, in which he starred as a child actor, is one of my favorite films, thanks to its notable dreamlike imagery.
