Perks of being nice. An older regular at the bar who is also a print maker gave me these two cast iron antiques to possibly use for my artwork. One is a book press (with very faded ornamental filigree painted on it) and the other is what he called a “copy machine”.

EC Comics 1950s Modern Love woodblock (mirror image) 24"x29" on birch plywood, took around 10 days to carve (give or take). I'm waiting for the printing ink to arrive and then I'll try to figure out how to print this - I'm still teaching myself the medium and don't have access to an etching press.

Today is January 6, the anniversary of the felon/GOP’s violent insurrection trying to stop the peaceful transfer of power in the 2020 election! We remember 140 officers who were injured & those who lost their lives due to the attack on the Capitol! Hold all involved in the insurrection accountable!
