I love Sonic X (🇯🇵/ 🇫🇷version) despite its shortcomings.
I still believe it's the best animated show with the blue rat we got. (Not a high bar)
But (or maybe because of that) it will always be funny to me that the biggest shout-out a show original gets in official game artworks is her corpse.

The final issue of GAME FREAK zine from 2004, produced by the company that had started off life as an arcade game tips zine in the early 80s, to commemorate 15 years since the founding of the company.
The previous issue had been released in 1999 following a 12-year gap as they focused on game dev.
