Further proof that today’s conservative parties in Canada aren’t anything like their counterparts from the past
On 2 March 1972, Premier Peter Lougheed declared his newly elected government’s immediate priority was to be a leader in the protection of human rights in Alberta. Soon thereafter, the premier introduced the Alberta Bill of Rights.

This is a long term disaster for the United States : many nations are dismantling supply that have American connection. This is long term; the US can’t expect us to alter supply chains in their favour when Herr Trump is gone

It’s disturbing that #DanielleSmith continues to violate the rights of Canadians with her callous use of the notwithstanding clause.

So is Mark Carney going to go along with the suspension of human rights by MAGA government in Alberta?
You cant' do nation-building by allowing an autocratic government to suspend the charter rights of citizens.
Just say no Mark.
it's pretty straightforward.

Texas & Florida have passed laws essentially making it illegal for cities to create car-free spaces like bike lanes or pedestrian plazas.

That’s stupid/shortsighted, & will make their states more dangerous & less economically competitive.

Ontario, your premier thinks like those States.

Red flag.
