what in the actual
very odd that the Post would write up someone’s speciation as if it’s news. What are we doing here

Marjorie Taylor Greene's resigning in time to get a pension is a lesson to everyone.

Most Americans don't get *any* pension anymore, but Congress gave itself a pension after only five years of work.

Our "representatives" aren't working for us, they are [barely] working for themselves.

One thing I like about PLURIBUS is that a misanthrope (or at the very least, a serious grouch) is humanity’s last hope.

I’m watching Cuarón’s GREAT EXPECTATIONS on Hulu and I think we all memory holed how exquisitely gorgeous Gwyneth Paltrow used to be. (Ethan Hawke too, but we all knew that already.)

Let’s not forget Benicio Del Toro in ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER when Best Supporting Actor nominations are given out.

In EVERYONE SAYS I LOVE YOU, Lukas Haas plays the only conservative in a liberal New York family. At the end of the film it is revealed he had a brain tumor that was causing his conservatism. Unrelated, has anyone scanned Marjorie Taylor Greene’s head lately?

Here's the thing I don't get: Doesn't Elon realize how embarrassing this is? It doesn't make him seem strong and powerful, it makes him seem weak and desperate and delusional. With him (and Trump), the inability to regulate the absurd boasting is the real syndrome.

It's amazing how his pathology aligns so closely to Trump's.
I guess one difference between me and Elon Musk is that, if I was gaming an AI to say these things about me, and everyone could see that I had done this, I'd have simply no choice but to set myself on fire.

How’s your morning going? I’ve been arguing with Grok as to whether or not he was once a Nazi.

Just saw Jim Acosta’s post about the Catherine Lucey “quiet piggy” moment. He thought he was being an ally but framed it like this: “Imagine if that was your wife or daughter.” That’s not feminism Jim, that’s paternalism.

It’s from a partnership with Microsoft, using the MSN web portal name. The “My Source” thing is new. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MSNBC

It occurred to me that, after years of viewership, I did not know what the MS in MSNBC (and now MS NOW) stands for, which strikes me as a failure of marketing. It stands for “My Source” which doesn’t necessarily seem worth preserving in the rebrand.

I've said this before but if someone says "Democrat party" instead of "Democratic party" they are not a serious person and should be completely ignored.

In 100 years, this will be featured in classrooms as an example of the Nazi-style propaganda put out by the Trump regime.
The Labor Department launched a social media campaign with illustrations that appear to be AI-generated and that almost exclusively feature White men — part of an effort to promote the hiring of American citizens over foreign workers.

The campaign has drawn scrutiny, with critics saying it is not realistically portraying the country’s diversity and is sending messages that feel exclusionary.

From Instagram to TikTok, all social media outlets create an algorithm based on content they believe you will like and engage with. Not X. My “For You” page is filled with right wing bile, the absolute dregs of humanity.

What’s telling is that the right is not in a full-blown panic over this, the way the left was over Biden’s signs of aging. We are so often our own worst enemies. Harder on ourselves than we are on our opponents.
