I guess some artistic liberties can be taken when doing 2D artworks of 3D models, but it's kinda funny those renders got published anyway when you already had a bespoke CGI model.
What they went for with the JP cover makes a bit more sense now.

Victor wanted us to change in-game Lara to appeal more to a Japanese audience. Huge eyes/head etc. They faxed through examples really late in dev. Toby Gard really didn't want to alter Lara. As a compromise all that was changed was the manuals & guide. Not sure who did that render or illustrations.

Isso me lembra a história que um amigo me contou: ele trabalhava no caixa de um banco, lá pelos anos 90. Tinha um senhor bem velhinho, cliente, que ia todo mês na agência, pedia pra retirar todo o dinheirinho da conta dele, conferia ali no caixa e depositava de novo 🥹🤏🏻
