Lot on the mind with the new Muppet Show Special. But for now: thumbs up.

New Muppet Show is out on streaming, hoping to talk about it later.

One more for good measure: Bugs Bunny’s Titanic scheme in THE HASTY HARE is probably tops in my list for the funniest reason to strike down one of his enemies. For one, why would he assume Marvin would know what the Titanic was? And two, why did Marvin do nothing at this moment? Think about it.

Here’s a gag from BUGS BUNNY RIDES AWAY that always amused me. The sheer absurdity of the joke being that someone can build a town in mere seconds is so insane it always stood out.

Here’s a Bugs Bunny moment that always stuck with me since childhood: we’re given no reason why he’s out at sea during the start of GORILLA MY DREAMS and seems to be at utter peace at himself despite the signs saying otherwise. Why that is, the cartoon never tell us. The cartoon is richer for it.

Another favorite Bugs Bunny moment from BUGS BUNNY GETS THE BOID. Pretty confident Virgil Ross animated this. Not only is the timing quite funny, but there’s a lot of beautiful drawings and movement in here that made take notice whenever Virgil animates.

Since Bugs Bunny is trending right now, perhaps this is a good time to share some favorite moments.

Here’s one that comes to mind: a character defining moment from TORTOISE BEATS HARE, but animated by Bob McKimson. If you want to study acting in animation, this is a good place to start.

After 9 months here's another video of the cancelled TAITO racing game 'VERTEXER' in HD. No ROM available, so probably the player have one of the only PCBs in existence or have access to it. Still is great to see more footage in high quality of this game. youtu.be/I6ZHunXVSrA?...

As this last semester is going on, I’ve been spending my time watching a crapton of 90s Disney movies I’ve never seen before.

Andreas Wessel-Theron gave me this too with the Silly Symphony DVD.

My mom wants to frame it. I genuinely hope she does.

Oh it brings me utter happiness to have this.

Thanks Andreas Wessel-Therhorn! I’ll cherish this as one of my prized possessions.

OPERATION: DUMBO DROP is a dumb movie.

Well it took me longer than I antipcated, but hey, feels good I can watch one of the best animated trilogies on BR whenever I feel like it.

Really hoping for the best for animation historian Mike Barrier’s health. A recent comment about him got me worried.

Latest Goodwill pickup.

Same place had the first LOTR, but someone nabbed it before I could. Oh well.

Too busy lately to comment on so much of what’s going on classic animation wise, but man oh man. Cherish these years. Who knows how long it’ll last.

I've had a promotional VHS for the test animation that became Batman: The Animated Series for a long time, I bought it on eBay in like...1999? The version they put as a bonus on the DVD said they lost the audio but uh, here it is. You're welcome Bruce Timm.

There’s a great comment on Cartoon Research where someone reveals he knew the great Lantz animator La Verne Harding.

I think it just hit me I bought a DVD from Roger Rabbit animator Andreas Wessel-Therhorn.

What a time to be alive.
