The .gov domain name is controlled by the US government, which means that if you see a user with a ".gov" handle, you can be pretty sure they're real

If someone quotes your post in an unwelcome or negative way, follow these steps to remove your post from theirs:

1. Click the three-dot menu on their quote post.
2. Select "Detach quote."

This will remove your post from their quote.

it does! it has many algorithms. it has as many as you want, in fact — and any developer can make their own.

there is also a default Discover algorithmic feed (which probably should be renamed to For You) that we maintain.

the difference is just you're not stuck with it
