Exactly - here’s what the summary text says: “This agreement will operate on similar principles to the UK’s other Social Security Agreements (SSA) with the EU and countries such as Switzerland, Norway, Canada, Japan, Chile and South Korea.“

UK-India trade deal: conclusion summary

Stop accepting the premise of Farage's never ending grifting quest to demand something, then scream about betrayal when it happens.

All trade deals are involve trade offs, but they produce a benefit for both sides that is worth those trade offs.

This is what you asked for Nigel, do shut up.

“It is scandalous beyond belief.”

Nigel Farage insists the UK’s trade deal with India ‘discriminates against British workers’.

Is anyone gonna get that mad if playing Celine Dion and Bryan Adams’ music get a little more expensive?

Nb: no Alanis Morissette’s, Arcade Fire’s or Neil Young’s were harmed in the making of this joke… obvs Buble and Nickleback can do one.

I find it so odd that the “New World Order” birthed in the 1990’s that’s so despised by the American right and being dismantled by Trump and Musk was crafted by George HW Bush.
Only 2 republican presidents away from the incumbent and the one in between was the son of the first.

Heartbreaking from @francesryan.bsky.social
We use continuing care for our son, wouldn't function as a family without it.
Too see a family broken and somone suffering because they're not being given good care is appalling.
Good palliative must be a minimum.

I get that leaving twitter is hard, beyond the time and energy invested it’s addictive.

I've not used the site for months but only deleted my account a few weeks ago.

But surely now, if you’re still on there you need to get off.
Otherwise, you’re just handing this guy cash and power.

Imagine the level of thought and planning that has gone into that hat, then consider the amount of antipathy there must be to motivate and justify the scale of the whole enterprise.

We need to stop the use of the nonsense phrase "sniff test".

It's a risk free way to make allegations without evidence and allows journalists and insiders to cast dispersions and, crucially, generate heat around a story.

It's smearing even if it’s done off the record and opaquely.

📢Today, MPs debated the Children’s Wellbeing & Schools Bill – a huge opportunity to reform child welfare!

It includes families having the opportunity to come up with solutions before children enter care & a new local kinship care offer.

The leader of the opposition reads like she's just spent far too much time online and is now regurgutating random memes as political commentary.

It really would explain a lot, for example her hacking a government ministers website and her "odd for a politician" Christmas movie choices.
Of course she prefers Die Hard

Great idea but @freezemysnowball1.bsky.social not very accessible to insist on IOS 17 or higher for your app.

People with older phones, or those who don't want to lose functionality from updates that throttle capacity can't use your app.

That Tory MPs are taking seriously something they really should just ignore is stagering, especially as it's based on a very dumb premise, which is: lets overturn hundreds of years of our constitutional settlement because people signed a petition.
Every government since 2010 has had clear potential to collapse. This one doesn't and, after 14 years of drama, people haven't quite got their heads around that yet.
