Nearest book—page 42—second sentence

"εὐρύοπα (514, 884) is formed by analogy to these nouns in -τᾰ; see 514n."
Nearest book—page 42—second sentence

"An older variation of this sign used in Indiana shows a closer etymological relationship to its French origin: the right claw hand is placed near the temple of the signer’s head, again, representing the crown of laurels"
Pick up the nearest book. Turn to page 42 and post the second sentence.

"For it is not true that linguistics self-evidently has an object, the term 'language' being notoriously ambiguous and slippery."

If we've learned anything from the past year it should be obviously disqualifying for Gavin to run for president because he is a podcaster.
we are still years out from the Democratic primary, and I think it is genuinely deranged that there’s people out there who believe there’s no other choice and thus we must rally around the flag of, all people, Gavin Fucking Newsom to save the republic

Look at my baby! ☺️

I reedited Modole folk stories published 110 years ago

Old journals and archives are full of story collections in underdocumented languages, often difficult or impossible to access for both linguists and the speaker community. Using legacy material is valuable and sustainable 🙌🏻
