Read the first couple of books in preparation and then watched the episodes of ‘Heated Rivalry’ that came out last night.
Somehow you can really feel the women objectifying male homosexuality edge to the ‘male gaze’ in it.

So, Pokémon Legends Z-A actively encourages players to catch the extra large versions of the pokémon, but then uses a battle mechanic where size decreases efficiency as larger pokémon get snagged on environmental objects far more often, blocking their attacks (and sometimes trapping them entirely).
