when I was in Madrid last year I asked the concierge where I could find a place to watch American football and he went 😬 and I said “yeah probably hard in Madrid“ and he said “hard in all of Spain!” Not gonna get any easier when the NFL is making them watch the 2025 Dolphins!!
The NFL Europe stuff is so emblematic of what’s wrong with the NFL. In its quest for omnipresence, the NFL has made Commanders/Dolphins, an ass football game that should be flying under the radar at 1 PM, something that people can focus on. You’re spreading it too thin!

I saw the Chainsaw Man movie last night and thought it was honestly just ok, but i did immediately remember years ago when we read the manga how @200proofgames.bsky.social told me he thought it was in direct convo with Evangelion. Can’t believe I didn’t see it then, the movie makes it so apparent.

Thinking about this AD&D chart by Ed Greenwood from his dragon magazine article Modern Monsters (issue 57). I saw it years ago but the damage die per speed of impact bit has captured my imagination for a while. I never truly considered ramming an elf with a 80 mph pickup truck before that moment.

my buddy Carter and I played last of us part ii like, 4 years after its release and one of the highlights of the whole experience was remembering that one guy who was frantically tweeting about how it was the schindler’s list of video games

my senior year of high school we all got tablets and I would just use mine to Google things like “tmnt”. I have a crystal clear memory of searching “godzilla” and seeing the poster for Godzilla vs. SpaceGodzilla and just whispering “holy shit” while my poor English teacher watched and sadly frowned
