I read the original books in high school, and the first prequel the weekend it came out + have seen all the movies in theaters. I am embarrassingly in the tank for this franchise - BUT I just read the most recent book (another prequel) and think it’s bad

jackson I know this is the equivalent of me telling you leprechauns are real but that last movie was really good

also, I do think the isolated audio of me screaming away from my microphone as Quinn finished reading it is very funny

2 years later, I do feel bad for taking the time to dunk on this thing so specifically - but I *still* think about this post every time I see certain kinds of critics authoritatively talking about what fiction is supposed to do. the bad post is everywhere.
