Don’t you just hate it when you buy a hard copy because you LOVE to have books and the cover and book are awesome, but then…
The ebook isn’t included?? You have to pay another X dollars/euros to get the ebook, which you NEED for in the bathtub?

I’ve chosen to make my book available anywhere that sells ebooks.
I’ve done that because I’m Dutch and most of my family and friends do not own a Kindle.
I’ve also done it because I think giving exclusivity to anyone on _my_ work feels wrong to me.

It's not about which format is "better" or worse, it's about access and preferences. Each person according to their situation.
For some that means physical books. For some that means e-readers. For some that means audiobooks. For a lot of people, it means a mix of several.
