Also that Congress did address immigration with a bipartisan bill that gave republicans virtually everything wanted, only for them to sabotage it at Trumps request so he could run on it in 2024.

His motion mainly argues that two former FTX employees who didn't testify (Daniel Chapsky and Ryan Salame) would have undercut prosecutors' narrative, but were threatened out of testifying. He also claims Nishad Singh was coerced by prosecutors into changing his testimony.

I can't think of an attorney general ever showing this much open contempt for Congress before.

Not only would most of them think this kind of conduct was beneath them, they'd have known that the Judiciary Committee chair, whatever the party, would never stand for clownish antics like this.
