How white fragile racist do you have to be to do this? This is pathetically weak.
A non-government business that contracts with the federal government received notice today that in order to do business with the government they must certify that they don’t participate in DEI. So it’s not just the feds, it’s any private biz that contracts with the feds. Here’s the message they got:

The Trump administration has begun drafting an executive order to eliminate the Department of Education.

This action would negatively impact school libraries and literacy rates.

It may seem strange to folks outside of academia, but there has been a line of prominent research within it arguing that misinformation isn't a problem. This paper pushes back, noting how those arguments often rely on poor definitions & operationalizations of what misinformation is & how it works.
In this new article in American Psychologist we respond to critics in detail and clarify two key points for the field;

(1) The prevalence of misinformation in society is substantial when properly defined.

(2) Misinformation causally impacts attitudes and behaviors.

A single page of a novel or script comes to about 300 words or ~1650 characters. So if you can write 6 skeets in a day, you can put 1 page into your dream project. After about 100 days, you’ll have a script; after ~166 days, you’ll have crossed the threshold of being a novel. Just 1 page at a time.
