with seven lackeys on council granting even more power to a "strong" mayor, but I'm a bit surprised they didn't ask the CAO to do the dirty work on this one, they often do with the really evil shit.

An election can’t come fast enough. I am deeply disappointed that 7 council members chose to excuse this unacceptable behavior with no accountability.
