Economic investment in libraries has a 6:1 return - that’s right 600% return. Show me one other free space in Ptbo that has that ability to raise the economic base in our community and raise families out of poverty!
Come to the rally at Healthy Planet this Thursday June 19th at 6pm. The decision to cut librarians from the library has NOT been implemented. This is a 2026 budget issue. Libraries need librarians!

I have been waiting to write this story for 14 months when I first broke the news that Leal had threatened Coun. Bierk during a public meeting. The IC's report goes further by investigating complaints about Leal's conduct behind closed doors, too.
