The bunnies are digging, and the squirrels are collecting.
Our mornings have just enough of a chill in the air to make me want to collect leaves and make carmel corn. Here are a few photos from my morning walk. What sings of 🍂 are you seeing?

It's that time of year again, football and my super easy and delish monkey bread. I always go home with an empty plate.

Every now and then I still get a craving for a Jack Taco. It's one of my guilty pleasures. What do you think? Yay or Nay?
What's one of your fast food cravings?

Our book club selection for July was VERITY by Colleen Hoover. I seriously think I'm a little traumatized after reading it. Excellent writing, so much suspense, and gut-wrenching scenes. But yeah, traumatized.

Sad to say, our summer concert nights are coming to an end. We enjoy live music. What is the name of your favorite local band? Ours is called Thumpin Band from the Denver area.

I love it when I catch a beautiful sunset on the way home. These pictures don't even come close, but it isn't nice to be moved by everyday occurrences?

After months of feeling creatively bankrupt, I'm back at it. I am slowly making progress. Those dry times are tough, but I always believe I'll eventually find my way back. Who can relate?

It's been decades since I've sewn anything for myself. Back in the day, patterns used to run large. This one? Womp-womp runs small. Back to the fabric store.

We have had a few beautiful days here in Colorado. This #collage piece was inspired by the work of #illustratior Leo Lionni. I love the simplicity of his #illustrations and his storytelling in #picturebooks.

Just another #dailydoodle but isn't she lovely? Started as a loose lines pencil sketch, she wanted to more physical so out came the painted papers. I think she was inspired by my mom, who has been gone 48 years.

“We should be alarmed at the thought of books being pulled from shelves because of a few people with agendas that have more to do with divisive politics than books, education, and libraries,” Jones warns. “And we are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.”

The tree outside my office window has hundreds, maybe thousands of these tiny icicles on its bare branches. The sun is out now, and soon, they will melt, but what a wonderful reminder that we are surrounded by miracles every day.
