That might be the single funniest penalty in football history, I really can’t think of one to rival it. Terry slipping was good but the sheer hubris of the failed panenka… 10/10 no notes.

city very deliberately changed their squad to get younger. only two players in this team 30 or over (ake and b. silva). i feel like that should mean a pep guardiola team is better at pressing than this.
