Architecture & Town Planning students spend about 54 hours a week on study + paid work — the highest of all fields.
Language students are at the other end, with 41 hours.

Did you know that across EUROSTUDENT countries, most students live away from the parental home? Yet living with parents remains the single most common housing type overall (34% on average).
In 🇦🇿Azerbaijan, 🇬🇪Georgia, 🇲🇹Malta, 🇪🇸Spain, most students live with their parents.

Across the #EUROSTUDENT countries, 22% of students report discrimination experiences during their studies. On average, the most common grounds for discrimination, as perceived by the students themselves, are gender and age, with 8 and 6%, respectively.

While 🇳🇱 the Netherlands show a high proportion of students participating in research or field trips (24%), students in 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇨🇿 the Czech Republic, and 🇨🇭 Switzerland commonly go abroad for language courses (15, 11, and 10%, respectively).

According to the E:8 data, students from 🇮🇸 Iceland report the highest mental well-being, whereas students in 🇵🇱 Poland report the lowest.
📚 On average, students with a high study intensity indicate a score which is slightly lower than students with a low study intensity

Students whose parents did not attend university remain 45% less likely to reach the top earnings quintile than those with graduate parents.

Students who study beyond the standard period of study:
🔹 have a lower sense of belonging
🔹 are less likely to rate their academic performance better than that of their fellow students
🔹 are more likely to consider dropping out than those still within the standard period of study.

Today I learned: Studierende in Klagenfurt machen am häufigsten keinen Sport, Studierende in Innsbruck machen am häufigsten mehr als drei Mal wöchentlich Sport. Am Seltensten betätigen sich Ingenieurswesen-Studierende an öffentlichen Kunst-Unis sportlich.
