What percentage of students with a paid job work in a job related to their studies? Half across Europe, but with big differences between countries.

The chart shows the proportion of employed students who work in a study-related job. This ranges from 39% in Ireland to 67% in Norway, with an average of 50%. In all countries, the proportion is higher among students who are studying at a non-university institution. Eurostudent writes in the original post: Analysing students with (a) paid job(s) shows that, on av., only about 50% of them has a position directly related to their studies. In most of the countries, students at non-universities tend to more often work in fields related to their studies compared to their peers in unis.

präsentiert. Pläne nach der Matura, Informations- und Entscheidungssituation, Faktoren für/gegen ein Studium, Studienwahl, Gap Year.

Schema der Pläne innerhalb von 2 Jahren nach der Matura: 72% wollen studieren, 13% eine Berufstätigkeit beginnen, 4% eine weitere Ausbildung machen, 3% haben sonstige Pläne (Selbständigkeit/Leistungssport/künstlerische Tätigkeit) und 7% sind noch unentschlossen.
