Canadian pollsters look to have done very well last night, but the common theme continues: party of the Right, the Conservatives, look to be underscored by 1.5% on average across final polls.

that Canada elections feature ideal conditions for a polling miss. Not saying there will be one, but close election with Conservatives in 2nd, ok approval rating for Con leader. Could be a classic of the genre with wrong winner!

My first post here and it’s likely to be a theme. Today we have not one but two self-identified right wing pollsters using weaponised polling to reinforce their own priors.
Polling should be independent & objective but I doubt it will continue to be so now the industry is being Americanised.
