More crocodile tears on the news this morning, as phoney animal loving ostrich farmers cry foul on the execution of innocent animals they themselves had every intention of killing

If this story upsets you, go vegan & help prevent further atrocities such as this one 💔
‘Tears & anger’, but once again no mention of what this #ostrich farm produces & whether or not these animals are doomed regardless… Also no mention of the need to END livestock farming - THE ONLY actual solution to curbing the burgeoning risk of future pandemics 😷 #H5N1

When the crates busted open on that Mississippi freeway, several monkeys inside experienced a brief moment of freedom… before they were hunted.

Monkeys Headed for Lab Hunted with Assault Rifles, Killed
After a transport truck crashed, several monkeys escaped to experience moments of quasi-freedom—and some to experience the last moments of their lives.

☠️ The “lethal dose” test was first introduced in 1927 to determine the amount of a chemical or substance that kills 50% of a group of animals. It is still in use despite progress in animal-free science. As the #EU prepares to update its chemicals law, REACH, we can end LD tests for good.

Happening today: Hundreds of monkeys exported by #Mauritius to suffer & die in testing laboratories in Europe & USA. Shame on @Ramgoolam_Dr & @SeeMauritius - the reputation of Mauritius as a holiday paradise is tarnished by this utter inhumanity to long-tailed #macaques.

In 1927, scientists introduced the “lethal dose” test—designed to kill half of test animals. Today, various versions of lethal dose tests are still used in chemical and pesticide testing, causing immense suffering. Science has evolved. Regulations should too.
