can not recommend the resident evil 7 vr mod, unfortunately the amount of involuntary head movements in it are quite horrible

recently installed a bunch of games for testing under linux
quake 2 original crashes on start up
the modernised version is beautiful and runs silly well
the rtx version, on a rtx3060 runs like shit without res scaling and looks shit, the lighting and reflections just done for the style

Stop using AI for placeholder assets.
Use sketches. Use lorem ipsum. Use bright pink materials. Use programmer art for fucks sake, literally anything else.
If your studio is using AI even for temp, even if they think they've covered their tracks, SPEAK UP because people WILL FIND IT

RIP to this project
i've been building pc's for over 15 years and still i fuck up bad 😅
killed my os, actually managed to kill both my linux and my windows install on different drives at the same time
didn't have this project backed up
so it's gone all gone

set up the inventory system!
took a long time but i learned a ton about UI and data management in Godot, very worth it.
(not gonna get into details, because if i learned anything in the research for this, its that people will never agree on how to do any of this "correctly" ^^ )

so, ugh, SteamOS is not really meant for non Steamdeck devices so far it seems...
and im still as dumb as ever, managed to nuke my arch and windows installations by trying to get steamOS running on a partition D:
