Bad Bunny’s performance actually made me wish that I actually grew up with my dad’s side of the family or at least met them sooner.
It inspired me to make sure that I get to Puerto Rico and see my family’s land to learn more about that side of me.

I had the honor and privilege of telling Octavious V. Catto’s story for Drunk Black History. Over 200 people in the crowd and just full of Black joy. His legacy is important as ever today especially as it relates to Philly.
Make sure that we honor those that paved the way for us.
