As someone from Northern Ireland, I'm at a mix of trying to stay calm while also being aware of how quickly things can rapidly spiral out of control especially when theres troops on the streets
it's so funny how most americans are like "oh yeah things aren't great in DC but they'll sort it out" while people i know who've lived through state collapses, however partial, are like "oh you guys are about to go through some stuff, you know"
