This TV ad by our Secretary of State really makes me appreciate living in Massachusetts.
Huh. I didn't realize that we have the Lockheed CEO on the MGB Board of Directors.

These folks are outside the MGB Somerville office right now. I don't envy them in this weather.

Paul, Becky, and I continued our game day with the Voynich Puzzle and A Place For All My Books. Becky easily won both; clearly, being a teacher gives her an unfair advantage in book-based games. 😆

Paul, Becky, and I played Moon Colony Bloodbath and we all lost all our colonists at precisely the same time. The moon is under robot control now, mostly Roombas and angry Sirius Cybernetics automatic doors.

Finally got Moon Colony Bloodbath to the table! These pics show my colony at its height with 44 colonists (and 7 buildings) and then at the end with 16 colonists (and 3 buildings). Amy and I tied while Doug triggered the end by losing all his colonists.

Every single statue of a Confederate general should be replaced with a statue of William Sherman, holding a Black child in his left arm, smiling to the horizon, the point of his sabre at the throat of the the kneeling Confederate general.

"It's heritage. You lost. Never forget."
Sherman’s March was fascism

if you live in mass (or anywhere, usa), you most likely live near or on a superfund site. meaning you have elevated levels of godknowswhat in your blood.

in my town, it’s pfas. one of our residents is working hard to get legislation passed to protect current and future massholes alike. link here:

Watching Dark City (director's cut) again after maybe 20 year. I forgot just how good this movie is.

There was an opera singer at the event I supported last night. I wish I recorded her entire performance; she was outstanding.

The most precious commodity you have is your attention. You don’t have to waste it on poor-faith debates or arguments with strangers if you don’t think they’ll be productive. You can prioritize the things that matter to you and make your life richer.
