The only thing seriously bringing the BBC into disrepute is the current behaviour of their senior management.
I have never seen @robinince.bsky.social be anything less than measured and polite on social media and if standing up for victims of bigotry and violence is somehow bringing the BBC into ‘disrepute’ (which also sounds a bit slanderous) then that tells you all you need to know about BBC Management.

As we mourn Rob Reiner, don’t skip this: he was, pretty much, personally responsible for overturning California’s Prop 8 banning same sex marriage.

My friend’s no-budget full of heart and creativity trans folk horror short ‘The Estrogen Gospel’ is screening in L.A.! Amazing!

@gayofthedead.bsky.social

Full disclosure, both myself and my son also had some input into this little film, and we couldn’t be prouder of @realrobynadams.bsky.social.
I'm hosting another one of these on the 23rd. If you're local to LA, come join me for a night of indie trans film & then a chill queer mixer. DM for address. It's free but I'll be taking donations to cover event expenses- I'll have stickers too for every donation.

The person of the year is just outside of the frame, sawing through the girder.
I guess it's fitting that it's a reimagined, worse version of someone else's artwork

The BBC statement is a straight up lie. Who are you going to trust, the version of events given by a man of proven integrity & kindness who has been signalling this for a while or a corporation that has been captured by right wing interests & has a track record of doing this exact thing previously.
I'm privileged to call Robin a friend, and as such, have seen behind the curtains with what went on with Monkey Cage. When BBC bosses say they don't recognise his version of events, I was being told of them by Robin in real time. This stuff has been going on for YEARS.
I'm heartbroken for him.

The Landlord and Landlady promise their patrons a ‘Happy Day’.
The Oxenham Arms pub in South Zeal, Devon, boasts the unusual distinction of having been constructed by 12th Century monks around a prehistoric standing stone.

If you’re lucky and visit at the right time of day, as I did today, you might also see it being recharged with sacred energy by the sun.

I just signed up to support @cosmicshambles.com via Patreon. So should you. When Nigel Farage attacked the RNLI, they saw a huge surge in donations. Let’s do the same here.
Now that @robinince.bsky.social has sadly been forced to resign from BBC’s ‘The Infinite Monkey Cage’ for the heinous crime of speaking out against bigotry as a decent human being, it’s more important than ever that independent voices are supported and no better time to support @cosmicshambles.com.

Incredibly brave. Imagine the faceless bores the BBC will have making their programmes if they continue down this path.
Very sad that I felt I had no choice but to resign from The Infinite Monkey Cage - a victory for the transphobes and other bigots - I did it because so much of the media has chosen to believe the kind and empathetic people are a fiction - they are real and so often unrepresented.

He’s done more in 100 days than some leaders manage in their whole career. At last, the Greens and their policies (including important social and economic principles beyond the obvious environmental ones) are being included in the conversation in mainstream politic discourse in the mass media.
I'm just over 100 days as the leader of the Green Party.

We've had several polls where we're in second place above Labour.

And today we found out we are closing in on overtaking Labours membership.

Then we're coming for Reform.
