High quality, low cost, low impact housing. Built by and maintained by the state. Why are Canadian political leaders so afraid???

U.S. cities look to Vienna for green affordable housing : NPR share.google/m0wzemrBhTV4...
Could this city be the model for how to tackle the housing crisis and climate change?
Vienna has a way to make affordable housing and combat climate change all at the same time. Now U.S. cities want in, and they're building their own green housing.

Quantifying the damage that individual profiteers have contributed to our collective earth is the only fair way to figure out who is responsible. Blaming the addict for the drug is a time tested way for gangsters to avoid responsibility, but that does not mean it is moral or helpful in any way
But what if we counted emissions by company instead?

After all, every ton of coal, oil & gas burned was extracted + sold by companies that profited while avoiding responsibility for the damage.

In 2016, Heede showed that just 90 companies were responsible for 2/3 of carbon emissions since 1850.
Just 90 companies are to blame for most climate change, this 'carbon accountant' says
Richard Heede has become a thorn in the side of the fossil fuel industry

Extremely important to start calculating these costs. These companies need to be held responsible for their actions
"Every 1% of greenhouse gas emitted since 1990 has caused $502 billion in damage from heat alone, excluding costs from hurricanes, droughts and floods." Top-emitters:
Saudi Aramco: $2.05  trillion
Gazprom: $2  trillion
Chevron: $1.98  trillion
ExxonMobil: $1.91 trillion
BP: $1.45  trillion
🌎🧪
Fossil fuel companies caused $28 trillion in climate damage, study finds. These 5 are tied to the most harm.
Extreme heat caused by emissions from 111 fossil fuel companies cost an estimated $28 trillion between 1991 and 2020, according to researchers at Dartmouth College.
