Weak leaders insist that they're the best. They seek attention to feed their egos, and measure success by how many followers they attract.

Strong leaders ask how they can get better. They seek feedback to fuel their growth, and gauge success by how many lives they improve.

Find Career Trails Through Connections and Skip Networking
Does attending networking events give you the “ick” feeling?  Me too.  That’s why  I decided not to network early in my career.  Instead, I blazed my own career trail by doing what I always did well: ...

Skip the Path - Find Your Career Trail
For years, we've been sold the idea of a "career path" - a straight, predictable line from entry-level to the corner office. We've been told that with the right planning, right skills, and right moves...

Maybe stop calling it "Return to Work"?

It's been 5 years. If WFH people were all screwing around, productivity would have plummetted.

It's not. Productivity's up 2%/quarter the last 5 quarters, higher than projections from 2019.

And offices are still only half full.

Hard to imagine sometimes, but so important to remember, that a human being like Ethan is on the other end of the camera, standing within these scenes themselves as they capture them.
These extraordinary photos of the LA fires have been shared widely on social media, often without crediting the photographer.

These are all the work of Ethan Swope, an LA-based photojournalist working for AP.

2025 is about leaders who trust their teams, not managers who count office chairs.

Imagine trusting your employees enough to let them work how and where they perform best. That’s remote work.

While unbossing may be a new trend, the recommended solutions have been around 10-20 years. Fascinating!
