“Did Nathan Gill ever say anything you disagree with in return for his bribes from a Kremlin stooge?”

“Did you, in your roles as his boss, friend, mentor & party leader, ever question his full-throated support for an enemy of the UK and if not, why not?”

You can have those for nothing, lads.

The Covid Inquiry finds that if Boris Johnson had called the first lockdown even one week earlier then it could have saved at least 20,000 lives.

Here's a quick reminder of what Johnson was actually doing during those weeks

Nowhere in the hysterical pile-on against the BBC in the British press has anyone mentioned that BBC News now has 77 million viewers & listeners in the US and has established itself as the second most trusted news source there.

Maybe Keir should demand the heads of major US news networks any time they imply Britain is on the brink of civil war or that we live under sharia law. Or does it not work both ways?

Glad that someone has finally taken responsibility for the appalling assault on democracy that was the Jan. 6 insurrection.

Slightly confused that it's the Director-General of the BBC, but what do I know?

School pupils are to be taught how to tackle conspiracy theories, spot 'fake news' & root out misinformation. The Daily Mail, ajudged by Wikipedia to be an unreliable new source, is furious. You don't have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out why.

The problem is that once they start digging, the Russian connection leads all the way to the Queen and, therefore, the King. Look up Sir Ben Elliot, nephew to Queen Camilla. The msm can not, will not go there.
Farage is a Russian asset and the evidence clearly linking him not only to Gill but also Russia is enormous, but silence from our MSM.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social on @lbc.co.uk displaying wonderful British understatement. Suboptimal is certainly one way of describing it. I laughed out loud and am still chuckling now.

That's most certainly the problem with MAGA, and it's the case with Reform UK as well.

Angela Rayner was obliged to resign because Labour and the other parties are still playing by the old rules.

The Brexit right simply don't care about that stuff unless it suits them to use it against people.

Rayner is absolute class. She's been a bit silly in organising her taxes, but that's not why they hate her. They hate her because she did not know her place.

The problem with much of the centrist commentariat swinging behind the "Britain is broken" idea is not only that the right are weaponizing it to sell their xenophobic/racist narratives, it's also that despair itself has social consequence. Britain is great! It is also in need of public investment.
