Not complicated: Trump wants to go into Venezuela to take oil. He thinks this will lower gas prices & please his base. He is not thinking of the cost of war or occupation or lives because he is a psychopath. Active war makes it easier to suppress opposition and provides a major distraction.

Mamdani's free buses is not my favorite thing. More discounted fares for buses & subways would make more sense. Many buses don't have working panels at backdoors. This isn't practical as they are used for entrance. Repairing panels to accept fare should be priority so those who can have a way to.

I'm waiting for them to fix healthcare by declaring that really sick people who come to ERs will be asked for proof of citizenship and payment before they can be treated. Because when the make healthinsurance impossible, that's how the economy will crash.
