We studied B cells and #antibodies in blood vs. colostrum (the first milk) from mothers with BMI >30 (#obesity) or BMI <25 (normal weight, as per WHO)

An ideal burn-rate for your budget is ~90%. Any lower, and you are probably going too slow. At 100%, you are in for nasty surprises (see below), while above 100% is only sustainable if you have ever-escalating grant successes.

1/ A long standing paradox in my mind (from always seeing immune "strength" or reactivity drawn as a spectrum from immunodeficiency to autoimmunity) was resolved this year at #AAI #Immunology2025. WHY do SO many people have both simultaneously? Each infection brings risk of developing autoimmunity!!
