Just so angry and distressed by the decision by this Co of C..ts to restrict the availability of puberty blockers to trans kids. Our kids deserve to be supported and given what the need in consultation with their medical advisors. You absolutely are endangering lives with your religious fuckery.

Many concerns re the McSkimming situation. The fact that they charged the complainant to shut her up is abhorrent. The lack of process. Protection of the white male "top" cop. Fact that the Police Min keeps saying this is just a problem with the top dogs. NOOOOO. It is a culture problem throughout.

I'm 66. I barely learned anything about Te Tiriti in school or in fact much in the way of the true history of Aotearoa. When I came to uni I took NZ history papers in my pre law year. Did further study re Te Tiriti while in law school. Huge gap in my school years and this govt are just shitty people

What was actually in the fine print of yesterday's roading announcement: a $40-to-$50 billion bill that we could not pay without bankrupting ourselves. This has been implicit for a long time and should be in the damn headlines. greaterauckland.substack.com/p/reality-bi...

to all the Labour mps on here can you tell your leader we need a commitment to reverse the Jobseekers policy that National has just introduced. Thats not giving your policy away that is exercising basic humanity and getting rid of very poorly formulated policy. Just say it. Come on.

the actual cruelty and shittiness of these people knows no bounds. May they rot in hell or whatever it is they believe in.

I don't give 2 craps about Winston and he has no platform of decency to speak from but smashing his home window was wrong and mindlessly stupid cos it opens the door for him to claim victim hood. Its also distracting from the real issue (genocide) and the absolute shittiness of this govt.

every day this government shows how nasty and vindictive and useless they are. Young people (sometimes abused, sometimes impoverished, some with disability or mental health issues) do not deserve to be their next target. They should not have to beg their parents for support. Just absolute c...ts.

Biggest 6 month rise in youth (15-19) unemployment this millennia,
Q3 2023 - Q1 2024 + 6.9% (28400 unemployed to 42100).
Biggest Annual 2008-2009 (+6.8%, 26200 to 35200 unemployed), 2nd biggest annual 2023-2024 (+5.4%, 30500 to 38800 unemployed).
This is not caused by youths playing video games.
It is offensive for the person supposedly in charge of the government and its economic levers to suggest that youths, and their playstationing ways, are responsible for the most rapid surge in unemployment since the Great Financial Crash

so if Luxon is friends with Israel then why doesn't he ring his buddy over there and check on our citizens and arrange for their release and safe return or better still the enabling of the vessels to deliver the aid....

Its not hard to vote beyond your own needs. Sit and think, "what kind of city/country/world do I want to live in?" ...

If you look after the most vulnerable, you will look after yourself if you end up in that situation.

You will also live in a safer, happier society with less crime and poverty.

Wayne Brown talking about the “wretched” CRL while saying he wants people to use it nor really helpful…especially with bumbo Bishop snickering in the background. Absolute fools. But apparently taking out the level crossings will fix all our traffic woes….

Just watched video of my 12 year old grandsons speech for the National speech competition. His topic is his role as Tangata Tiriti. So damn proud of his understanding of that. His delivery was passionate and lots of reo used. Feeling hope for the future. ❤️

Nicola Willis thinks everyone are misery merchants and apparently if we just cheer up all will be well. She can take a running jump to hell. Real actual people are suffering, businesses are closing, people are freezing in unheated homes, young people are on the streets without shelter. Heartless.

Well that was just what I needed. I can’t recommend enough if you get the chance go the doco Prime Minister. I cried for much of it but in the end I felt a wee sense of hope and optimism which is bloody hard to find at the moment. Nuanced and intimate. Loved it. Jacinda is definitely one of a kind.
