There's a ray of sunshine in the DFW area when a Democrat has more votes in a 3 way race. Taylor Rehmet got 48% of the votes in a special election for State Senate. Both Republicans are whacko right wingers. Run off between Rehmet and the remaining R is in mid December. Things are looking up!

I just watched a trailer from South Park about Trump wandering in the desert. Hysterical. I love what SP did to Trump (sleeping with Satan). He deserves every bit of it. There is not one redeeming quality about him and I feel guilty for even thinking it because I'm a progressive Christian. Hate him.

Republicans have sworn their allegiance to Trump except for two Congressmen and three Senators. They've approved a budget bill that is ungodly and immoral. I believe anyone who supports or votes for Trump, will receive divine justice. I'll leave judgement to God but I'll work to defeat them.

just called my Texas Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne. I can't live with myself unless I try to tell her to vote NO on the Budget bill that the Senate just barely passed. She's a Trumper but at least her office knows I called. It's time to throw morality in their faces if they approve the budget bill.

what an absolute shit show for the last couple of days. There's nothing quite like hearing that the US has bombed another country. War never solves anything. I think I'm angrier at the folks who elected Trump. Such stupid, ignorant people who allowed themselves to brainwashed.

Attended huge protest for a "small" DFW suburb....Flower Mound, TX. Held signs, found tree shade and yelled and waved a cars driving by. Got lots of car honks, thumbs ups, waves. About a thousand protesters and only a few Trump trucks with flags. No issues.

I've been doom scrolling today more than I want to, but it's like I know something is going to happen that I will dread. I've shared in a private FB group that it feels like the late 60s again. Assassinations, riots, cities burning. I'm so proud of the peaceful protesters standing against ICE.

I hate when the national NBC evening news gives a third of its show time to Trump. Why do they give him so much air time? Cover the news with the reporter and then move on. There's plenty of news to cover. Please don't give us details in a junior high mean girls fight. Why is it so hard?

I went through a phase where I wouldn't engage with Trumpsters when they said stupid stuff on friends' FB posts. I didn't think it was helping. However, I find it helps me. I'm not rude but I am direct. It feels good to push back.

good news in local school board elections in North TX. MAGAs defeated by folks supported by progressive and moderate voters. Keller, Grapevine/Colleyville, Mansfield, Carrollton/Farmers Branch, Richardson voters rejected book banning, transphobic fears. Local activists got voters to show up!

So proud of these North East Tarrant County folks who protested in front of the Tesla showroom in Southlake, TX, on Saturday. Their third protest. Southlake is a red suburb. Full of Trump supporters who think there aren't any Dems in the area. There are lots.....but many people just default vote R.
